One connected entertainment ecosystem
Authentication is the reason studios start. The relationship with a known collector is the reason they keep going.

Studios & licensors
Numbered editions that carry their own certificate of ownership — and a channel to the collector who holds them.

Prop makers & workshops
Screen-used pieces and hand-finished replicas, tagged at the bench and verifiable for the life of the object.

Fans & collectors
One tap opens behind-the-scenes films, maker notes and cast material the studio can keep adding to.

Rights holders
Encrypted chips that cannot be cloned onto a fake, with an ownership record that travels with the piece.
Connected editions
No app, no login. The collector taps the thing they already own and the studio knows exactly which piece — and which person — just arrived.
Orrery Pictures · 01 / 04
A hand-finished prop carries its own archive: where it was made, who made it, which scenes it appeared in, and who owns it now.

Provenance
Paper certificates get separated, copied and faked. An encrypted chip is part of the object and verifies cryptographically — so the proof and the piece stay together.
The encrypted chip goes in during manufacture, not in a warehouse afterwards. The piece leaves the workshop already able to prove itself.
Each piece is bound to its edition number. Piece 042 of 500 has its own record, its own portal and its own history.
One tap issues a digital certificate of ownership. No app, no account — and the studio gains a first-party relationship it owns.
The portal keeps working: new content, edition news, and a clean ownership record whenever the piece changes hands.

Case study · Makinarium
Makinarium UK Ltd's debut Studio Edition collectible — a licensed replica from The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, handcrafted at Pinewood Studios by the prop makers behind Star Wars, Mission: Impossible and the MCU. Only 800 individually numbered pieces, each embedded with a secure encrypted NFC chip powered by Fan Connect. One tap opens a digital portal unique to that piece: certificate of ownership, serial verification, provenance.
Collectibles, props and limited editions all run the same system: prove the piece, register the collector, and keep the relationship working long after the edition sells out.
→ Known Collector
Turn an anonymous purchase into a registered collector. A tap on the collectible, prop or edition plaque issues a digital certificate of ownership tied to that exact piece — no app, no account.
Encrypted NFC proves the piece is genuine, not a replica of a replica.
The owner of piece 042 of 800 becomes someone you can actually reach.
Authenticate + register — the object proves itself, and the collector behind it stops being invisible.
→ Edition Truth
See where an edition actually lives: which pieces have been registered, in which markets, and which are still sitting unclaimed or circulating unverified in resale.
Every numbered piece has its own record and its own history.
Spot re-registrations, transfers and counterfeit attempts.
Piece-level view + resale signal — a 500-run edition you can account for, one number at a time.
→ Lasting Value
Keep the portal working after the sale — behind-the-scenes films, cast and maker content, early access to the next edition, and verified ownership when the piece changes hands.
Announce the next drop to people who already bought the last one.
Measure registrations, opens and repeat collectors per edition.
Studio-direct + provable — a collectible that keeps earning attention long after it ships.
